Here are some examples of my published work. I have been published in various outlets; such as blogs, newspapers, and university-sponsored websites.
While studying abroad in Ireland, I worked with a team of students to devlop the branding of a small nonprofit called Cuimhneamh an Chláir (Memories of Clare). I was selected to be on the Press/Editorial Team due to my skills in editing and writing. The responibility of my team was to document the experience of our group as whole, as well as to record the work that we did with CaC. The finished product that we created was a website that presented an overview of our time in Ireland.
I wrote this article for The Breeze, my university newspaper. When I was a staff writer for The Breeze, I wrote many articles surrounding prevelant topics on campus. This particular article was written following the uprising of Yik Yak, an annonymous twitter-like application. In this article, I interviewed different students about their experience with the app, and how they saw it affecting our campus culture.
In my Romantic Communication course, I was tasked with presenting a speech on what I learned throughout the semester. I decided to reflect on my experiences with dating, and compare the act of dating to a maze. I wrote this piece as both a creative endeavor, as well as an outlet for me to express my personal thoughts on romantic communication.
